Color Throwdown 454

Hi there!

Here is my entry at the last moment for Color Throwdown 454.  The colors are green white and kraft.

I used a piece of bristol die cut with these lovely little holes to create a frame sent to my by my friend Greta (thankyou) it was so easy to blend on some antique linnen and tea dye distress inks to get a light shade of kraft.  I also added the leaves from my friend Betty (thank you).  I don't often make an all die cut card but I was happy to be able to use some items from my box of goodies sent by other crafty ladies.

Thanks much for stopping by!

  1. the leaves are so pretty with that soft shade of "kraft" - and the frame adds so much!

  2. Love how you made use of the leaves, sentiment & frame--beautifully done, Cat! By the way, still time to enter at CAS-ual Fridays

  3. I adore that little frame, Cat ... is it a PTI? Your friends are undoubtedly giving back as thank yous for things you've given! Gorgeous!!

  4. Lovely, Cat ... calm and serene and so delicate! Love that pierced frame, it's so subtle! Hugs, Anita :)

  5. Crafty friends are the BEST and you sure used your gifts to their best advantage, Cat! This is really lovely and works brilliantly for the CT challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

  6. Absolutely gorgeous sympathy card, Cat! I'm so impressed with how you created your Kraft card base and I love your die cuts on this card!
