Hello-
I am filling up holes in my stash. For this group of cards my focal image is a stencil from Waffle Flower. Its the NPC Peony stencil. It fits on a smaller postage stamp die. I used altenew inks in one of the pink families and a green one. The blue is blue print sketch distress ink. The sentiments are from Altenew.
Since my stash is so low I am making multiples of most cards. Someone is going to have to employ some problem solving skills on one of these cards. It opens on the wrong side.
On another thing I wanted to share...I have poor grip strength, to the point of thumb joint pain when I release my hands from a squeeze. So glue, which is my go to, has been challenging. Peggy gifted me the
precision glue press. At first that worked well, but once a bit of glue was out it was not a good tool for my and my hands. Fortunately, I recently found the We R Makers glue squeeze. It looks like a mini caulking gun and I've been using it for about a month. That was 35+ cards and almost a full refillable cylinder of glue used with no hand issues.Has anyone else found a new fun and useful tool? Thanks for stopping by.

Love the colors and the pretty flowers, Cat! These are just fabulous!
Wow! What a beautiful stencil and colors, Cat. I love these cards, and the differences you made on each. Kudos for finding a glue press that works for you -- arthritis is an issue for me though not to your level, so I'm glad you found a way around the pain while still getting to enjoy the crafting!
What a great group of thank you cards Cat, and great idea too to make multiples to ramp up your stash while you have all the supplies out. Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! (And thank you so much for the lovely Easter card...you're always more on the ball than I am, but one will be coming shortly! And Happy, happy birthday today...I hope your special day is just that...SPECIAL!!) Hugs. :0)
Cat, I LOve your gorgeous Peonies! So bright and beautiful! [I've done that backwards bit a few times myself!]
No issues with glue here - but I thank you for the information!

Wow--what a great discovery so you can use liquid glue! I have been trying the silicone brush to apply glue to delicate diecuts and have mixed success. I'm going to do it more as I do like not trying to do tiny dots on multiple thin areas. Your cards are stunning, my friend! Absolutely gorgeous choice of colors and I do love that floral design!
Wow, these cards are gorgeous! Beautiful stenciling. It almost looks 3D. I went through a hand/thumb issue with my left hand, fixed it, and now my right hand is doing the same or similar. Arm and shoulder, too. Been referred to an orthopedist, but nothing is happening yet. It's so hard to get anything medical done here these days. I laughed out loud at your comment about the one card requiring problem solving skills. I've watched people have trouble figuring out a top fold vertical card and that's why I make most of mine side fold now.
Yay for a tool that works! Your Peony cards are amazing! Great color choices.
Love the rich colors on your peonies, Cat! We were just talking about the glue press in a crafty Zoom call - I had the same issue when glue ran low! You don't want to hear my tale of trying to refill the bottle... Anyway - glad you found a better option!!
This stencil is so pretty and I love the bold colours of ink you've used for it. Such a pretty postage stamp, especially on the dark blue base. So funn about a challenge to open a card. I'm sure many of us card makers have a few of those in our pasts. :) So happy you could find a solution for using glue. The grip and size of the glue "gun" looks like it would be very comfortable to use. I don't have any new tools, but long ago, I could no longer crank my Big Shot, so I bought a Gemini Jr. electric machine. It helps make card making so much easier for me. I use it EVERY DAY. Same for my cutter, it's a Rototrim and is easy to use, even when I'm cutting a lot ... repetition is not our friend. xx
Love these bright peonies, Cat! So bright and pretty! What a good solution to your hand/glue problems!
Wow, it looks amazing, the colors complement each other perfectly.
