 Hello

Its lovely and wintry here in Northwest Ohio.  I have to say I am enjoying it.  Then again I don't have to go out in it, I can just admire the pristine white views from under a cozy throw or my crafty desk.

This card will be visiting Can You Handle the Pressure.  The optional theme is a friendship card...this birthday card is going to a friend...I might be pushing it. It does fit the anything goes category though.

The embossing folder is SU's Timeworn Type.  Bloom, stencils and dies for the main image are from SU's Thoughtful Garden. Paper is Hammermill white, SSS Lemon Chiffon. SSS's Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles added some curves. The sentiment with matching die is from Waffle Flower - Birthday Wishes.  I used Altenew inks in Bamboo, Olive, Fresh Lemon, Citrus Burst and Honey Drizzle. I also use some yellow crystals...not sure who they are from.

Many of the items used came from my overflowing bins of new stuff so I am especially loving the card and new toys. I'lll be posting at Darnell's NBUS #82 as well.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

You gave your flowers a beautiful dress to wear for its inaugural outing, Cat! I love the soft colors hinting at a spring on the distant horizon and the texture, sediment, and border you added! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Happy New Year! (I owe you an email!) Hugs, Darnell

Geez, Cat, you just have to love this card as much as I do 'cause it's gorgeous! You know how I feel about yellow, and these blooms are just the happy sort I love. Perfect bit of embossing in the background, and the scallops add to the cheerful nature of your card. More please! Enjoy that snow!
