Hi There-
For those celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope it was all you wanted it to be. Hubs and I celebrated with our niece, her SO, nephew and my MIL. Generally its a much larger crowd, but sickness kept a few away. In any case we had a good time. The rest of the weekend was spent on football and getting this card started.
It took me a day's session just on the paper selection, cutting and gluing all those bits together. My second session this morning was spent on ink blending and putting the card together. This one is labor intensive. I made 4 (that means 12 cuts of almost every die to get 12 images). It might make an appearance in next years batch of cards, but no more this year or I might toss the set out.
I am sending this to NBUS#81 and The Diva's that Cut Paper. The stamp and die set arrived in the craft room last week and the Diva's would like Christmas or Winter.
I have sewing projects to work on and get in the mail, those are my next priority. But I hope to make a few more cards before the year is out. Stamps and Die set: Spell Binders - The Three Magi
- Inks: DOX Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick. Versamark
- Markers: Black Micro Pen; Copic C1, E19, E50, YR20
- Papers: Hammermill (Base) Recollections Gold mirror card; SU Very Vanilla, Berry Blast, Magenta Madness, Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Blueberry, Evening evergreen, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, PTI Lovely Lady.
- Embellishment: TE Gemstone, HA Gold EP
Thanks so very much for stopping by.

It was worth all of the extra effort, Cat! Your background colors are magnificent. This is a pretty card!
Gorgeous 3 Kings card, Cat - love the colors!! Yes, it does look fiddly - I passed on getting it for that reason. Oh but it makes such a beautiful card!!! So glad you shared at Die Cut Divas too!!
Fussy, yes, but the end result is magnificent! I love the Magi and glad you felt at ease to overcome to the struggle. I have a few like that, and while they make an appearance, they aren't my go-to's!
Beautiful card Cat!! LOVE the gorgeous blended background colours. They are just perfect for showing off your three wisemen. Seems that a lot of recent dies to the market have several pieces. I agree ... a lot of work, but so worth it in the end with these amazing cards you've made. xx
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Cat!! I'm glad you took a photo of ALL the die cut pieces...make me appreciate even more the labor of love you put into these cards!! Absolutely worth the time and effort Cat...GORGEOUS!! Hugs. :0)
Wow, this card is stunning and all that hard work was worth it.
Cat this is just gorgeous!! Thanks so much for playing along this December at Die Cut Divas.
Cat, I have had my eye on that set for a while! So happy that it found a wonderful home with you! Worth every pass of your die-cutter, my friend!

These colors are festive and rich. Beautiful job with the set!
Oh, Cat! I'm completely blown away! I keep looking at and admiring this set, but you've made it much more stunning than I ever imagined. The rich colors of the Magi and your background are incredible. I do a lot of fiddly stuff, but I'm sure I would have made one and put it away for another year. You are amazing!
