 Hello-

I am on the night shift again.  It had better right itself by months end. My Dad is coming to visit for a few weeks.  I can't be up all night and asleep all day while hes here.

I managed to make several cards for Halloween.  I need an early start as I won't be crafting much in October.  I've made 3-4 of each, and am halfway to my goal.

They will be visiting galleries at Inky Paws Challenge, Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge and Tic Tac Toe Challenge 279.

First up Inky Paws Challenge -Fall/Halloween:

Love Newton peeking out of this very witchy boot!

  • Stamps: NND Witchy Newton
  • Dies:  NND Witchy Newton; MFT Stitched Circles Stax
  • Inks:  Memento Tuxedo Black; DI Wilted Violet
  • Markers: Copic R30,20; 0; 100; YR04,07,14,20, 24;FYG2; YG 21,03;V04,05,09; C05, 07; W01
  • Papers:  Hammermill, SU Cute Halloween

Next Up Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge:

Linda sent these Haunted House diecuts to me in 2024.  I just did not have time to play with them as we were house hunting and doing a fair bit of traveling.  SO unpacking one of my desk organizers made me so happy to find these.  I added those adorable ghosts from SSS to make it a bit less scary. I like cute Halloween not scary stuff.

  • Dies TE Haunted Mansion, SSS Costume Ghost Parade
  • Inks:  DI Wilted Violet, DI Wild Honey
  • Markers: Copic W#, BV08, YR07, 100
  • Papers:  Hammermill, Unkinown Black
  • Foiling:  NND Spooky Sentiments, Spellbinders foil Cerise

And third, but not least TicTac Toe:

Loll, had me so intrigued with her O filled Joy cards last year ( linked to the most recent I found), when I saw this BOO die, I had to follow her lead. Next time I will mark the bottom of the cut outs so that they are stamped on not so windy a day...lol. I chose the center row. Large sentiment, Three or More Colors, Stamped Image.

  • Stamps: SU Happy Scenes, LF Spooktacular
  • Dies: PB Big Boo;
  • Inks:  Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Markers: Y04. YR09, G24, Y18. R56
  • Papers:  Hammermill, Recollections

If you made it to the end of this post, thanks much for hanging out.  Have a great week.

All three cards are fun and cute, just what you ordered, right?! I love that you also incorporated Loll's design into your own word die, it's such a great idea. May your schedule get back to norm FAST, and your rest caught up before your dad's arrival! Have fun

Ack, how fun! I loved hanging out here today, Cat! The kitty in the boot is so colorful and cute and certainly my favorite kind of Halloween card. Your little trick or treat ghost definitely takes the scary out of the haunted house, and I love your third card with the black and white contrast, windy day and all! I hope your sleep pattern straightens out. It's been a while since I had a totally sleepless night.

Love the purple inking on the first 2 and I remember Loll's card series - great idea. I don't think I would have coped with my stamping being wonky, but I can actually see that it doesn't matter especially on a windy day. Hope you sleep sorts itself soon xx

This kitty is so adorable, Cat, and even the bats are cute (for bats, lol)! I love the glowing windows on this haunted house and the cute ghost doesn't look a bit scared! I love the boo die with the images in the O's! The tree looks like the one outside my dining room window. It tilts just like that! I've been having some long nights lately too. Maybe it's the moon?
