Its been quite a week. My most disliked card to make today...the sympathy card that is needed right away. The wife of one of hubs lifelong friends passed.

Sympathy cards are hard to make when needed right away...my creativity goes out the window when I'm put on the spot! Your creativity was obviously working just fine as your card is beautiful and I'm sorry you have to use it already! Sending hugs to you and the hubs!! :0)

Your card is lovely and may it bring peace to the recipient. Sorry for your Hubs' loss, even if not directly his friend. Losses are never easy, but your heart-felt, handmade card will show them you care.
I'm sorry you needed the card. I also find it the most difficult card to make when there is an immediate need, and so I have to make ahead. However, I'm making a note of your idea here -- choose a beautifully illustrated stamp and create in a monotone without coloring. I think it's a brilliant idea and it makes a lovely card.

Oh goodness. It's never easy but I'm betting this card made your husband appreciate having such a wonderful card maker in his midst. Really lovely condolences for that friend.
