 Hello-

Its been a minute...its the sleep thing again.  But I am trying to roll with it.

I am trying to make 5 Christmas cards a month so I will not be scrambling at the end of the year.  This month I made 10 cards of two different designs bringing my total to 30. My year end goal is 60; coming down from 120 5 years ago. Last year was 75.

We usually get about 35-40 cards each year. I guess unless you're a cardmaker sending Christmas cards is not a high priority. I miss getting them, but will keep sending them out to family, close friends and my crafty friends.

Today's card is visiting the gallery at Christmas Kickstart, the theme is mini slimline.  This was an easy and quick card.

Thanks so much for visiting.

This is BEAUTIFUL Cat!! I have that die and have used it once...I think! A mini slimline is a great idea for this die though, and I'm definitely going to CASE you on this one as I love the mini slimline size!! (Regular slimline size not so much!) And YAY for getting so many Christmas cards done this month!! I am woefully behind, but think I am going to cut down a bit on how many I send out too...just to those that I know really appreciate receiving them! We get less and less each year too, so I think you're right that it's just not a priority to most anymore. Makes me sad too as I really enjoy getting them too! But anyway, hope the sleep issue doesn't hang on too long and that you have a wonderful holiday weekend!! Hugs. :0)

This is such a great card, love that amazing contrast. It is a brilliant die. I might have to seek it out and add it to my wish list. A perfect design for doing multiples xx

Wowie, Cat, this is gorgeous! There are a bunch of these dies for Christmas and thinking I may have to add some to my collection. Utter simplicity, yet extreme beauty. Love the gem center. I've actually cut back on my Christmas card list, too. I still send to all my stamping/blogging friends and to everyone who seems to appreciate it. Last year I fell short because things happened in late November and throughout December. I had cards, but didn't send all of them. It was a strange time for us. Your red and white is stunning with this die, and the mini-slimline is a favorite in my book!

Cat, it may seem easy and quick, but it packs such a wonderful punch of Christmas in this pretty red and white!
We all need a few designs that are quick!
I would be so sad if I didn't get a card from you, my friend! Also, sad if I didn't send one back!

This is so elegant, Cat! Love the red and white and the fact that it was quick and easy makes it even better! I have problems with sleep too. It can be so frustrating!

People don't send Christmas cards like they used to, so sad. I remember going to the mailbox as a child and my brother and I taking turns opening all the cards! Your card is a real beauty and anyone would be thrilled to receive it!
