Celebrate

 Hello-

Peggy gave me a darling handmade calendar this year...all gnomes, so I am not making one.  I wanted to have some sort of year long project, so I have started to collect online cards I see that I would love to CASE in some way or another, always adding my own touch to it.  So, here is the first one of the  year.

Anita made this card and it captured me right away.  Recently, Jeanne a similar card and it reminded me that I should give the colors and brushstrokes a try.  I always need a man card.

Supplies- Hero Arts Ink in Navy, Lawn Fawn ink in  Doe, SSS dies Celebrate and Etched Laurel Leaf and some random patterned paper from my piles of bits and pieces.

I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for visiting.

Great card, Cat, and the colors are wonderful. Love the spin that you made off both cards - perfect masculine card!

You should be very happy, it's gorgeous, and very nice way to pay homage to those card makers you admire. I have a 'Cards to CASE' file, too!

This is gorgeous. I love the sortof muted brown color with the blues. I think this card is a winner. I took a sortof unintentional long blogging break but am back now. I hope you are very well.

You should be happy with it, it is stunning. I can see the inspiration from the other cards but you have definitely made it your own, well done xx

Oh, my! I'd be very happy with it, too, Cat. I love the spin you put on it because I'm fond of anything botanical. Funny thing is, I just bought a blouse in these colors and was thinking how I could combine them on a card, and now here it is... looking awesome!
