A lil Thanks

While crafting at my dear friend Peggy's home we played with Brusho's last week.  What started out as an experiment, turned into a thank you card.  Peggy sent me home with the most scrumptious cranberry bars, so a card was definitely in order.  I thought she would like seeing how the Brusho experiment became a card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

What a delicious play with Brushos you had, Cat! This is gorgeous!! So did you mask the whimsical butterfly stamp and then do the yellow green background and then mask off the background and use blue green Brushos for the butterfly or use your markers for the butterfly or ...??? Inquiring and CASEing minds want to know!! Hugs, Darnell

No masking what so ever Darnell. I stamped and embossed the butterfly, then wet the wings and dropped the powder into it. I have a pinhole in the top of each lil container. First the blues, then the green then once it was dry I lightly wet the outer area and added yellow in small patches. It looked hideous until it was dry.

Gorgeous, Cat! Love the colors, and those Brushos have some amazing flecks! Thanks for the "method" given to Darnell -- now we can all imagine how you did this beauty!
