When I got this PTI Splits Tis the Season stamp and pulled it out to play with it, I wasn't sure what to do with it. I was lamenting the fact that I had not bought the matching die. So after stamping, embossing and coloring a few pieces of watercolor paper they sat, and sat, and sat.
Finally, after about a week I decided they needed to be finished, and it must have been the right time. I love how they turned out.
I embossed a panel, first diecut with a wonky stitches die, with a Sizzix embossing folder. My stamped and colored image was die cut with MFT's stitched Arch die. I added a bit of glitter or foil tape as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh how beautiful! You've made me put the arch die at the top of my MFT wishlist! I have that set & the die--haven't opened them yet, which is a crime. I'll send you die cuts, my friend--you'll have them for next year.
isn't it strange how something can sit and sit and then suddenly it turns into a gorgeous card - funny how that works:-)
This is just so pretty, Cat ... the splits look fabulous against all that delicious, textured white! Hugs, Anita :)

Cat, they are gorgeous ... they just needed a little simmer time to come out just perfectly!!! LOve the stitched and embossed panel!!!

Beautiful ending it is! Love the way you used it, and hope you didn't lament too long! However, I think we've all been in your shoes...
I don't think you need the die after seeing how you created this card, Cat! Beautiful coloring, and I love that you chose the stitched arch and embossed background...Really stunning card, my friend!
