I once had a bridge phobia and since living in Maryland, a state full of bridges, I have overcome that fear. I have driven over this bridge even in the dark, and have ridden across it several times. Those first few times I rode across it, my eyes were shut and hubs had to tell me when I could open my eyes.
Here are some pictures its a double bridge and the directions on either side can change depending on traffic volumes.
Two Ospreys make their home on one of the buoys. After our cruise, we dined at a German restaurant not too far away. It was a fun afternoon and evening.
Since hubs doesn't get a lot of cards from me any more, I thought I'd send this one to his business address as a thank you for a special date.
I used the SSS stamp set Sailing, and a Hero Arts set for the sentiment.
Now that I have gotten a sail boat card in, I can start on those fall cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
That is a cute idea to send the card to DH's business address. I never thought of doing that! It is a nice card, I love the woodgrain circle that looks like a port hole!
what a neat card - love it!
Sounds like a wonderful date--we'd enjoy doing that! You're such a sweet wife to send hubs this cute card--bet he loved getting it!
A perfect card for your adventure!
Love your marine card!
Great photo's, Cat ... sounds like a fun day ... and a brilliant card to follow it up ... that sailboat is so cute! Hugs, Anita :)
Your photos are fabulous Cat and I can totally relate to your bridge-aphobia! I am terrified of heights and bridges and heights often go hand in hand! So proud of you! I am sure your hubby loved this fantastic card especially since it is from talented you!
Cat, what a sweet card for your husband!
Love the fun post & sweet photos you shared.
What a great card to celebrate your cruise and dinner date with your hubby! I love how you created the water in the background and the woodgrain around the aperture is perfect!
