Pretty Peonies

Hello, to all you Moms, Pet Moms and Step-Moms I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Mother's Day filled with family and good times.

This WPLUS9 stamp set is a favorite, even though my learning curve using it has been long and slow.  Last summer I finally used it nicely as a watercolored bloom, you can see that card here.  I have been stymied using inks. Since my first few attempts I have added some more pink tones to my ink pad collection.

I love the combination I ended up using.

I had stamped so many flowers I had some left over, I made a second card. (Note: wait for the inks to dry and settle in if you use dye inks, you'll have a better idea of what they'll look like together on these multiple stamping type images. I didn't like this combo wet at all, but dry, its perfect!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Great reminder to let inks dry before you decide if it's good or bad. Of course you knew I'd fall in love with these flowers being the beautiful pink that they are! I love layering stamps & need to use what I have before I get more, even though these are tempting!

Just gorgeous! I have taken to writing down the formulas for these types of stamps where you stamp two or three times. It's certainly a learning curve!

Really gorgeous cards, Cat! I love the different shades of pink with your design, and the scalloped border is just perfect! Great idea to add new pink tones to your ink collection...maybe that's what I need to do :)

Both cards are really lovely, Cat! Good for you for remembering to do it again while you had everything out. I'm so bad about that and am trying to get better at it. It's silly, really, not to make two or three cards while I'm at it!! Hugs, Darnell
