The challenge at Merry Monday 181
is to use blue and white with texture.
My dear blogging friend Greta
sent me these Simon Says Stamp Merry Christmas die cuts (thanks so much!). I have been pondering how I was going to use them, and upon seeing the Merry Monday challenge, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I stamped the tree scene in versamark and heat embossed with white powder. This image from the Stampin Up set Happy Scenes is the perfect size for this die cut frame. I added the little twine and bow to finish the card off. I love the simple and clean lines.
I even had to make a second one in red I liked the design so much.
Thanks for stopping by!
That is a gorgeous die!
Both cards are beautiful, I love the pretty winter scenes. Thank you for joining us for Merry Monday.
WOW...Cat...these are both striking, bold, & beautiful.
SO gorgeous! I'm thinking you are all converting me to being a 'blue' person!!! But OH that red is delightful!
Just love your scene in the Merry Christmas polaroid, Cat! Bet it would be great in any color!!
Oh my gooooooodness! Be still my heart! This is oh-so-elegant! Love that shade of blue against the pristine white. It feels just like a cold, snowy pristine morning.
Gorgeous cards nut the blue one is definitely my favourite.

Love the blue card Cat! So dramatic with the white!
Perfect use of the die, Cat! Love the simplicity of both cards; perfect for a chill winter day! I have that die also; I may have to try something similar when I craft next.
