HI there,

My Dad and his wife are coming to visit for several weeks, so I will be absent from the blogosphere until the end of October. Today I have a another Halloween card to share.

Its a landscape gate fold card. The DSP (Cute Halloween) and Stamps and Dies(Fright Night) are from SU. I kinda like the monochromatic feel of this one.

Hello-

1 more card.  This one for my MIL.  Shes one of the best people I know and she loves pink. This one is visiting the gallery at Can you Handle the Pressure.  The brief is to use an embossing folder with the option of layers.

A simple embossed panel repeats the sentiment.  The cosmos stem was cut 3 times making a thick layered die cut. The center was mounted on a bit of foam tape giving it more dimension.  All parts of the Cosmo's top layer were colored with alcohol markers.

Hello

Its been a week. A funeral service, a beloved pet passed, covid shot creating lots of lethargy, and still my vampire hours.  The lethargy has now passed, and I feel capable of creating.  

The cat belonged to our niece,  they'd been together for almost 16 years. He was an orange cat and full of personality.  I made a fairly simple card. Mostly die cutting and some embossing.  I used Michele's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches as my starting point and will be adding my card to their gallery.

I cut an embossed panel and added some inking to make it stand out more; then found an embossed piece in my pile of embossed panels and the color was perfect. I triple cut the sentiment and stacked it.  I tried tilting the sentiment, and my mind would not accept it. So I did go a little off book on the sketch. All the elements were added to a cream card base.

 Hello-

I am on the night shift again.  It had better right itself by months end. My Dad is coming to visit for a few weeks.  I can't be up all night and asleep all day while hes here.

I managed to make several cards for Halloween.  I need an early start as I won't be crafting much in October.  I've made 3-4 of each, and am halfway to my goal.

They will be visiting galleries at Inky Paws Challenge, Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge and Tic Tac Toe Challenge 279.

 Linda sent these Haunted House diecuts to me in 2024.  I just did not have time to play with them as we were house hunting and doing a fair bit of traveling.  SO unpacking one of my desk organizers made me so happy to find these.  I added those adorable ghosts from SSS to make it a bit less scary. I like cute Halloween not scary stuff.

Loll, had me so intrigued with her O filled Joy cards last year ( linked to the most recent I found), when I saw this BOO die, I had to follow her lead. Next time I will mark the bottom of the cut outs so that they are stamped on not so windy a day...lol. I chose the center row. Large sentiment, Three or More Colors, Stamped Image.
