8-14-22 +1

 Hello-

Two challenges come together to provide the inspiration for this card.

I used Pink Fresh's Floral notes Stamp, Stencil for coloring and Die to cut the image out.  It makes for quite a quick card, and I love the big image.

My card will visit the galleries for:

Just us Girls - Stencil

Addicted to Stamps and More - Die Cuts and Stencils

04-27-22

 Hey There -

I am still trying to play with new stuff, as my bin is beyond full.  Today, I took out The Greetery's Spring Mix stamp, stencil and dies to make cards.  My thoughts are if you are going to use a layered stencil you might as well stencil several while you have the inks and brushes out.

I'll be sending some of these cards to The Card Concept, The Sisterhood of Crafters, and Addicted to Stamps.  All are the same design, different card bases and differing sentiments.

The above card is visiting :

This last card is visting: Please Grab Our Badge!

After cutting the panel first, and then layering the inks on by stencil and blending brush, I tried one where I stenciled first then cut out the panel. I much preferred the stenciling then cutting approach.

Thanks much for visiting.

03-24-22

Hello-

Today I am playing with a new stencil set that just landed in my stash after a bit of shopping. Its from PFS, and is the Seamless Floral Panel. Its a perfect landing spot for a die cut sentiment.  The card is inspired by Color Hues -pale teal and yellow and Addicted to Stamps and More -diecut and or stencil.

I used Altenew inks and some SU gray cardstock for the neutrals. A few yellow dots landed on the panel as well.

Thanks so much for visiting.

 Hello-

More from the MFT card kit.  I am still in love with it.

This sweet little square card is going to Simon's Wednesday challenge and Addicted to Stamps and More.

I remembered why I don't like the regular slimline size cards anymore....they are a pain to photograph. This one is going to Festive Friday Challenge. (Green, Encouragement, and Birds)

Thanks for stopping by!

02-06-2022

Hello-

While I am watching the Olympics I still want to make a few cards.  I am adding this one to my Christmas stash---which is at 10 now, fully in line with my goal of 5 per month.

Since my attention is somewhat divided I needed and easy and quick card. This fit the bill and will be visiting Christmas Kickstart Challenge and Addicted to Stamps and more.  The sentiment is the star and its definitely a quick card to make.

The ribbon, embossing powder and evergreen sprig are from Stampin Up, the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

12-3-21

 Hello-

I am still plugging away on the local Christmas cards, specifically for the crafty gals group I am in. This is card number 2 of the 9 I'd like to make.  I'm still playing with Newton's Stocking and probably will for all the cards. So you might see a couple more.

I am sending this card to Fusion Card Challenge and Addicted to Stamps and More.

Thanks so much for visiting.

10-28-21

 Hey there!

I faced desk piled from one end to the other with the crafty stuff I did not put away after making 4 more of yesterday's cards.  So I shoved it all to the left in a less than neat pile and began on this card for Peace on Earth and Addicted to Stamps.

The various blues and the cabin in the Peace on Earth mood board inspired this monochromatic card. I think it'll be a good man card.  And its a Christmas card, perfect for Addicted to Stamps.

Supplies: The Greetery Nordic Frames Dies, Hero Arts Navy ink, Paper Trey Ink Enchanted Evening Cardstock, and Altenews mini set Winter Cottage (retired).

Thanks very much for visiting.

Birthdays and Balloons

Hello- I've been enjoying some tennis and college football on tv this weekend. I thought I should get back to my crafty space to work on more birthday cards, so I have tennis on in the background.

This card is going to Addicted to Stamps - Birthday.   I used the Greetery's Delightful Digits coverplate for the white on white background, and MFT's Balloon Bundle for my focal point and sentiment.

Next up I am playing along with CAS on Friday with their Balloon theme and for the colors Seize the Birthday with Pastels.  For this card I chose MFT's Sweet Celebration stamp and die.

Ice Cream

 Hey there -

I admit to having been caught up in the Olympics.  So not a whole lot of cardmaking has been going on. Today is a mild softly raining day, and its perfect for cardmaking along with a bit of binge watching of MI-5, a British spy drama.

I used copics for image coloring and inks for the blended background. This is visiting both Addicted to Stamps and More - Make your Mark and Stamping Sensations - Any Occasion.

This is an unconventional birthday card in the sense that there is no "Happy Birthday" on the front. The birthday wishes are inside.  Cake isn't mandatory for Birthday celebrations.  I used to love a banana cream pie from Marie Callendar's when I lived in California.  An Ice Cream lover might prefer a big ole cone to celebrate the big day.

What's your favorite birthday celebration treat?

Thanks for visiting.

Thanks

 Hello-

Getting a handmade card is such a day brightener for me, and sometimes there is an extra surprise in the envelope.  Recently I was gifted this cute kitty cat from neat and tangled, so I though she'd make a perfect thank you.

I stamped, colored with copics and die cute this sweet lil kitty before mounting her on a SU card base with yellow blooms.  I am submitting this card to two challenges - Watercooler Wednesday and Addicted to Stamps.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Sailing By

 Hi There-

I grabbed a few minutes in my crafty space to make a card. This is the busy week that I help hubs with his business, so I snuck away for a bit.

This card is visiting The Card Concept and Addicted to Stamps and More.

I did some stamping and masking to set up my lil ocean scene. The stamps are from Clearly Besotted. The dies are from The Greetery and Sizzix. The images were copic colored. The panel was die cut and mounted with foam tape on a round card base. It is folded at the top and has a wee bit cut from the back so that it stands up.

Thanks for visiting.

Happy Anniversary

 Hello-

Soon hubs and I celebrate our 13th anniversary.  Its one of two occasions I can get away with a bit less masculine card.

I used the heart wreath from Simon's set You Have My Heart. It is a huge set and has fabulous images. I particularly like the wreath as it is mostly leaves, with one rose bunch and some berries.  I think it works for a Masculine card.

I am sending the card to Watercooler Wednesday and Addicted to Stamps

After coloring it with copic markers and die cutting, it I mounted it to a cardbase having been embossed with SU's subtle texture ef.  The sentiment from the same set was embossed in white on the same gray as the card base and mounted with foam tape.

So does it read masculine enough for an anniversary card?
