May CCC

 Hello-

If you have never played along with the Card Chain Challenge, its a make one get one challenge that is world wide. You sign up, make a card and send it and you'll also get one in return. If you'd like to sign up visit The Card Chain Challenge.

This card is going to Arlene in California.  I decided to use both techniques as my card design choices this month.  The card base is embossed with a folder. The focus panel is colored with watercolors, and then some embossing powder was dribbled on and heated in various places.  To finish it off a die cut flower was stacked 3 high and the center of the flower was gold heat embossed.  After adhering it to the water color panel a string bow was added. This panel was then adhered to the card base with foam tape.

I decided against a sentiment.

Thanks for visiting.

  3. I really love this one Cat. That panel looks amazing on the embossed background and the embossing on the panel add extra interest but doesn't detract from that gorgeous die cut flower. That string bow is a perfect finishing touch xx
