Sending Sunshine

 Hello-

We have another beautiful just into the 70's day. A little breezy and perfect for open windows.

Both Festive Friday Challenge and Cupcake Inspirations led me to make this card using Stampin Up's Sending Sunshine stamp set.  I like these watercolor-y scene building stamps and I have several. They are my go to's for man cards.  This one is for a gal though, hence the bits of bling.

I used Altenew Inks to make the card.  And that card base is Tempting Turquoise from SU...its probably not a current color but I had a brand new pack.  I picked blues green sunshine water and clean and simple from the Festive Friday List. I can imagine that little bear enjoying a sunset under that palm tree as he looks out to the water.

Thanks so very much for visiting.

ETA: I am also entering at Double Trouble - Summer Theme.  Thank you Suzanne for letting me know.

  3. Love your card... great watercoloring of your scene on the banner and the bright blue background papers really makes your scene pop. I don't do too much watercolor stamping and even bought some stamps to use; you have inspired me to get it out of my stash and work with it. Don't forget Double Trouble is partnering with Cupcake Inspirations and would love you to check us out and share your pretty card with us for the summer theme, you don't need the speech bubble to participate. https://doubletroublechallenge.blogspot.com/

  9. So peaceful, and calming, Cat. Love that setting sun - oh it could be rising instead - guess it would depend on the birthday! Either way, so beautiful!

  10. What an awesome card Cat and you are the 2nd person in this past week that has brought that SU! set to my attention and I never noticed it before, but now I think I need it!! Haha!! Love the tempting turquoise with your stamped scene...makes me want to sail away!! Although we've had beautiful weather in the mid 70's and sunshine the past few days, so maybe I'll just stick around here for a bit longer! :0)
