Hello-
I have become enamored of my embossing folders again. There are so many cards out in blogland with embossed panels with a touch of color added to the raised portions. I decided on that technique for this card which will visit two challenges. Color Hues and Just us Girls.
I used Simon Says Stamp's Floral Field embossing folder on a piece of black cardstock to create the daisies. I added Simon's white pigment ink over the top of the embossed images. To that I added a black shadowed white sentiment die cut, also from Simon Says Stamp. I randomly added 3 black enmamel dots to finish it off. This was a very quick card to put together.
Thanks so much for visiting.
love this card, Cat - just might really "need" that embossing folder!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry I am a bit late visiting this one, it is beautiful. It certainly does send smiles and what a good idea. I would naturally think of a more sombre sentiment for this, but that would be wrong. I love it xx
