I truly dislike the heat. I'm also so sensitive to humidity having lived in a desert most of my life. I'll be so glad once the temps go back to the 80's. Then I can handle the humidity.
Today I made a summery card for two challenges - Inky Paws and Freshly Made Sketches.
I used Newtons Nook Design's Newtons Summer Treats along with their plaid stencil for the tone on tone card base.

Perfect summer card--just adorable! We finally have some clouds & are cooler for a day, thankfully. I really am not a summer person unless I'm at a lake & that isn't happening!
ReplyDeleteDarling kitty with cone, Cat, and I love the orange!! One of my cats (RIP) used to love ice cream and if I had a cone she'd practically attack me to get a bite!!

Great take on the sketch, this card would also fit Day of the month card club. That little cat looks so happy with his ice cream. Is that a stencil on the background? It looks like it may be the same as the one I recently received from lovely Loll xx

ReplyDeleteLove those Newton's Nook stamps. I wish I had more. Your cutie kittie is adorable! It's going to be a real heat wave here in NJ this week! I have not been able to curb my spending lately .... and I really need to!! Christmas in July is so tempting that I find myself taking advantage of the deals even though I don't really need any more Holiday products!
