Hello -
These days the creating is forced. Tonight I picked 3 challenges, looked in my card bin and made two sympathy cards since I have zero in my stash. I don't like creating them for needs.
I tend to like botanicals for sympathy cards, and oddly today - green which isn't a favorite color of mine. But I do like these cards. I hope they sit a good long time in my stash.
This card goes to Case this Sketch:
This card goes to Just add Ink and Watercooler Wednesday.
I thank you for stopping by, and hope you are all staying safe and finding some time to be creative.
two lovely cards, Cat - both look like winners to me

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards, and I'm with you -- floral/botanical cards make for great Sympathy cards. I'm hoping yours stays in your stash as well
ReplyDeleteI hope they sit a long time, too, but I'm telling you they are two awesome cards and I LOVE green! The first is fantastic for the sketch. I love the die and the gradient greens. The second just wows me. How gorgeous! It makes me feel calm.
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like both of these cards. Really lovely in their simplicity.
ReplyDeleteStylish and understated simplicity, Cat ... these are both beautiful! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCat, I think you should reconsider your relationship with green … it suits you, and it sure does look gorgeous on both of your cards!

ReplyDeleteNothing about these cards looks forced. They are both amazing and I love green, so you will always get my vote with something green. Love the ombre effect on both cards, brilliant xx
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely cards, I love the uncomplicated colour palette and lovely tropical leaves. Chantell Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteI hope they stay in your stash too Cat x. Both cards are perfect for the occasion and the tones of green look peaceful and so very pretty x. Both cards have fabulous designs too and of course I like them both but extra loving the second one x.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely. I never purchased that stencil but whenever I see it, I want it! :) I's not making many cards these days b/c I am making masks out of fabric for my friends and family. Just seems more important right now. Tough times. Stay safe, Cat.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for the shout out at CTS!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely for the occasion.
