Pink and Girly

Hello -

Every now and again, I make a very girly card. Its usually pink and has some sort of embellishment to it. Definitely some layers.

This card is visiting the galleries of The Flower Challenge, Just Us Girls, Stamping Sensations(Feminine)  Day of the Month Club ( send a card to a friend; the card has been mailed!)

The gradient strips die is from Altenew, the flowers cut from some patterned paper, the leaves die is from Simon Says stamp and the jewels are from Studio Katia. I thought I had ordered clear, but it was a mix of white and clear.  Happy accident, I love the white gems on this card.

  5. Whenever I see pink, I think of our granddaughter Jessica. "Peenk" was her favorite color as a tiny tot, so this color always makes me smile. Such a pretty and girly card! That coverplate really works to perfection behind those leaves and flowers. And I love 'happy accidents' like this! The little jewels are a sweet finishing touch. Pretty (in pink) card! xo Bev

  10. This is simply gorgeous, Cat! I love pink and this is the perfect shade. That gradient background die looks just like an Altenew stencil I have. It's NBUS, but now I'm thinking I need to give it a try. Soooooo many things in my basket waiting for ink!
