Faux Stained Glass

Hi There

Today I played with a new technique, faux stained glass courtesy of CAS Mix Up Challenge.  I have two cards and three challenges entries between the two of them.  Fusion Challenge had rainbow cupcakes - I took the rainbow colors as my inspiration for a birthday card at Just Us Girls.

I started by die cutting three pieces of each die used.  I had backed the cardstock with be creative tape to make stacking the die cuts easier. I added sentiments and mounted the panels on card bases.

I stacked two diecuts onto a card panel, then I colored the interior parts with copic markers.  I added the third layer of the die cuts, and then filled over the parts with nuvo crystal glaze.  I watched several videos on you tube. Links are on the CAS Mix Up Challenge page linked above.

Thanks much for stopping by.
