I am never quick to work on a challenge...I need time to think. This week I will have little crafting time so I had to jump on Muse this week. I love Anita's card. I was inspired by it all the colors, the layers, the die cut.

Distress Inks, a couple of die-cuts, and because I couldn't resist a few sequins. No sentiment - lately I have had design problems - I don't seem to leave a good space for a sentiment. Oh well, there is always the interior.
Go play with this week's muse, and thanks for stopping by!
love the rainbow background with the black and the white die cuts - really pretty, Cat!!
ReplyDeleteThat scalloped border really gives the rainbow a punch! I always look at my scallop dies and I kind of shy away from them, but given how dramatic this looks on the black I may have to give them a try.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used a white die cut (one I love!) with that gorgeous inked background! Wonderful card, Cat--I don't think the front always needs a sentiment!
ReplyDeleteDelicious rainbow background, Cat ... that gorgeous white die cut positively shines against it ... I think it's fabulous without a sentiment! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully bright and cheerful card Cat! Great blending on that background piece! If I don't leave enough room to stamp a sentiment, I will stamp it on a strip of card-stock, cut it to size and then pop it up on foam, it works for me in most cases, sometimes it is black stamping on white, sometimes, I use black card-stock and heat emboss the sentiment in white. Have a great week my friend! Luv & Hugs. Hazel xx
