Sympathy

Sympathy cards-- I really don't like making them.  Usually it is because I need one.  The Father of a friend of ours passed away recently and I needed a card.  I think this will be my go to sympathy card in the future.

Do you have a go to style, stamp or design for a sympathy card? Do you keep some around, or do  you make them as needed?

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

  1. This is very pretty. I have that stamp and it is an old favorite. I think this is a perfectly appropriate Sympathy card.

What I sometimes do while making a card is to just add the Sympathy greeting on it while creating if it just looks like it would be a good one. I don't often set out to make one, but often, that is how it becomes one.

If I have to make a card quickly, I often use the Hero Arts Leafy Vines background stamp.

  2. I should make them ahead, but never seem to. This is absolutely perfect, Cat--gonna remember it. I tend to use trees or leaves, but love this!
