Halloween

I was at my LSS last fall and had ordered a die by Stampendous, after making a cute card at their make n take.  Between my time spent in Maryland and the back-orders of the die it was April of this year before I actually got my hands on the die. After waiting so long, I definitely was using this die for my cards.  I spent WCMD making my Halloween cards.

These cards were easy to make.  I simply cut 12 x 12 black cardstock into two 5.5 by 12 inch pieces.  I cut the die on one end of the piece, then scored the piece 4.25 and 8.5 inches from the un-die-cut end.  Two more pieces were cut one of white and one of patterned paper. They each measured 4 by 5.25 inches. The white piece was stamped with the interior sentiment, the long piece was stamped in silver with the exterior sentiment under the die-cut scene.

The patterned piece was placed on the straight end, and the white on the other side of the paper in the middle section.  The score lines were folded and VOILA a tri fold card.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Fabulous card, Cat! I was given a very ornate Christmas die to use for my cards this year. I may have to CASE this idea for using it. I don't see me making 50 cards with it, though! Thanks for your inspiration.
