Hello-
I am behind already...and I just got back to making cards. A new stamp set seemed a good one for masculine birthday cards. My Godson and Nephew both have July birthdays.
The stamp and dies are from Stampin Up. Bistro Burger. colored with copics. I intended to make two similar cards. This is the second one. The first one some how landed on top of an opened ink pad. It then was reworked to this version:
Most every oops is an opportunity to unleash some creativity...right? LOL. I am sending one of them over to AAA Birthday, the theme is summer birthday. And for me nothing says summer like a great grilled burger.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hamburgers are one of my favorite foods all year round Cat, so your cards really hit the spot for me! Your coloring is fabulous and the burger and fries look good enough to eat right off your cards! And great save on the 2nd card...totally works!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteJuly-approved! Burgers are definitely one way to explain July, and you pulled it off magnificently, especially with the save. It's always good to try to re-work something, and so glad you were able to do so.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun focal to use for a masculine card!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm hungry for a burger & fries, Cat! Two fun cards with those images!!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine a better menu choice for those boys, Cat! Sure to please!

Yum! You have colored these burgers perfectly, Cat! These cards are perfect for the boys! I know our boys love a burger and fries!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is always so impressive, Cat! These turned out great--oops wasn't a problem for you! Enjoy the holiday weekend, my friend!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, so cute! My mouth is watering. Great cards for the guys, great save, too! Rich makes the most delicious grilled burgers, woodchips added for a smokey flavor. Bacon, too. He calls them hospital burgers because that's where you'll end up if you eat too many of them.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great save, well done. these definitely make good male cards. I can't remember the last time I ate a burger like that, but my John enjoys them regularly xx
