April Bizzare and Unique Day

Hello~

I have several poppy stamps and it was time for them to come out to celebrate California Poppy day - April 6th.

When I lived in California, one year my Mom and I planted poppies in the yard we had them in red, yellow-orange and hot pink.  So you'll know where my inspiration came from.  My stamps are Hero Arts (red); Penny Black (yellow) Technique Tuesday (pink). All were colored with copic markers and stamped in SSS barely beige ink so I could get a no-line look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

such a pretty array of poppies, Cat - my fave is the yellow one - and your no-line coloring is wonderful - must give that a try with copics.

Aaah, three more works of frameable art, Cat! Each one is spectacular! I have so many poppy stamps and didn't know (remember?) that today was California Poppy Day! Dang. And now I'm heading to the nursery because I want to get some of those other-than-orange poppy seeds to plant! You are a fountain of inspiration and knowledge today!! ❤️Hugs, Darnell

Just lovely cards! I remember CA Poppy Day when I lived there and I too love these flowers. Sigh.
