Muse 151

Our muse this week Michele, has challenged us to make a song inspired card, and to guess the name of her song which inspired this card:

Last year Michele had a challenge just like this and had a bit of blog candy that she gave away.  I was a lucky winner to that one.  So while I know her song, I am not going to play for the blog candy...but I am playing along for the Muse challenge.

My first ever 45 purchased was this song, and it inspired this card.  There is no stamping done on my main image, its all free hand colored with copic's.  The woodgrain is from Stampin Up.

Let me know the name of the group in the comments if you know the song!  Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Excellent drawing and colouring. Looks like a glass of Brandy to me. Didn't know any songs, but did a search and found "Brandy" by the O Jays. Is that it?

  5. FANTASTIC!!! I knew right away, the song, but not the band without googling! "and the sailors say: Brandy, you're a fine girl, what a good wife you would be ..." The Looking Glass?
