Curtain Call Challenge Watermelon Wonder

I came across a new challenge while I was catching up on my blog reading after our July vacation.  I thought this one would be fun.  Here is the challenge graphic for August 1- Watermelon Wonder:

I took quite a literal approach, as I had a new to me Lawn Fawn stamp set with a cute little watermelon slice.  My patterned paper is from Jillybean Soup, coloring was done with pro markers and the string is from sew easy.

The melon slices are attached with foam dots, and the entire panel is also attached with foam strips. This card just makes me laugh; and summer should be full of juicy watermelon and lots of laughter!

Thanks for stopping by.

I love how the watermelon slices are popped up so it really looks like the ants are carrying them! Very clever and so much fun!
